Kimberly A. Maynard Carasso

Kimberly Carasso is an experienced civil litigator who counsels and represents clients in all facets of litigation. She has an extensive range of experience including: business, employment, professional liability, catastrophic personal injury, real estate and other types of complex litigation. Since joining Callahan & Blaine, she has worked almost exclusively on employment and business litigation matters.

She is admitted to practice in the State of California and the United States District Court - in the Northern District, Central District and the Southern District of California. Ms. Carasso is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and numerous professional organizations, including the Orange County Chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers. She is highly-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, based on legal abilities and ethical standards.

Recently, OC Metro Magazine named Ms. Carasso a "Mover and Shaker Under 40" in Orange County. In addition, she has been named a Rising Star (attorneys under 40) in Southern California by Superlawyers for 2009 and 2010. Superlawyers awards this accolade to only the top 2.5% of attorneys. Ms. Carasso is highly experienced and skilled at investigation, organization, development of trial strategy, case evaluation and negotiation. She co-chaired a defense verdict in a multi-million dollar products liability action tried in Mammoth Lakes, California. Ms. Carasso enjoys public speaking and has been a featured speaker for several organizations, including the Association of Corporate Counsel. In 2005, the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership organization elected Ms. Carasso to a two-year term as a Board of Trustee and appointed her as its General Counsel.

Ms. Carasso received her Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law in 1996 where she received the American Jurisprudence Award in Evidence Advocacy and she was a member of the Dean's List. In 1993, she received her Bachelor's of Arts degree in Political Science, with Programs of Concentration in Scientific Perspectives and Japanese Studies from University of California–San Diego.
