Kristy A. Schlesinger

Kristy A. Schlesinger is a civil litigator whose practice focuses on high-value and complex business litigation matters.   Ms. Schlesinger advises clients on a wide array of disputes concerning commercial, employment, real estate, and intellectual property claims.  Her prior experience as corporate in-house counsel also offers a unique perspective on how to unify litigation goals with business objectives.

In August 2012, Ms. Schlesinger, along with Marc P. Miles, obtained a complete defense verdict for the widow of a man accused of running a $135 million dollar Ponzi scheme.  After a four-week trial, the jury found in favor of Ms. Schlesinger’s client on all counts.

Ms. Schlesinger has been recognized as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers magazine in 2010, 2011 and 2012.  This honor is reserved for the top 2.5% of lawyers in Southern California under the age of 40, and is rated by peers.  Ms. Schlesinger was also recognized by Los Angeles Magazine as one of the Top LA Women Lawyers in 2012. 

Ms. Schlesinger also serves as the Chair-Elect of the Business Litigation Section of the Orange County Bar Association.

Ms. Schlesinger was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2002, and she is admitted to practice in the Central and Southern Districts of the U.S. District Court of California. Ms. Schlesinger received her B.S., cum laude, from Northern Arizona University and earned her J.D. from California Western School of Law.
