Defendant Partner Wins $1 Million Against Plaintiff Partner

(Names Confidential) Callahan & Blaine's client was sued by its former partner for breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and failing to provide an accounting. After an eight-day arbitration, the arbitrator dismissed the claim and awarded Callahan & Blaine's client almost $1 million in damages and attorneys' fees. The Orange County Superior Court later affirmed the arbitration award with an additional award in favor of Callahan & Blaine's client of $15,000.00.
