Michael Yi
Michael Yi is a talented civil litigator who specializes in complex business litigation, class actions, employment law and catastrophic personal injury matters. His legal experience includes representation of physicians, hospitals and other healthcare professionals in medical malpractice matters. Mr. Yi has also successfully defended transportation companies in motor vehicle accident cases, and handled premises liability cases against various businesses in both state and federal court. Additionally, Mr. Yi has represented real estate agents and brokers in professional negligence actions and has obtained favorable outcomes for his clients sued under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Americans with Disabilities Act.
Mr. Yi graduated with honors from the University of California at Santa Cruz with a Bachelor of Arts in History. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara School of Law, where he served as the president of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and competed in the Honors Moot Court program. Mr. Yi is admitted to practice before all of the California courts and the federal U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
