While proceeding southbound on a coastal road in central California, a USPS postal vehicle collided with a passenger car heading in the opposite direction. The late-morning accident sent the postal driver as well as two occupants of the northbound vehicle to the hospital with major injuries.
A 36-year-old Dublin woman was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate Highway 580 in Livermore on Dec. 10. The crash occurred just after 3 p.m. just east of Vasco Road.
A 47-year-old pedestrian died in an accident in Irvine on Dec. 10. The accident reportedly occurred in front of a high school on Bryan Avenue. According to police, the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
A two-vehicle collision near Silver Bridge Road injured a mother and son on Nov. 28. According to authorities, the driver of a Chevrolet Equinox traveling westbound crossed over the yellow line and collided with an oncoming Toyota Tacoma traveling eastbound. The accident occurred around 1:50 pm and caused the Tacoma to roll onto the south side of the highway. The SUV traveled several hundred feet down the road, went through a field and crashed into a fence.
Reports say that two bicyclists were struck by a GMC Yukon in Paso Robles on Nov. 28. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. while the two individuals were riding their bikes near the Adelaida Road and Nacimiento Lake Drive intersection. A female cyclist died at the scene.
