Bride-to-be dies in fatal crash on her way to bachelorette party

Preparing for a wedding should be a happy time. When a bride-to-be is on her way to her bachelorette party, she is planning to share her hopes and dreams for married life with friends. Unfortunately, one bride-to-be died tragically in a car accident while on her way to the party in the Lake of Ozarks.

The woman, 26, was based in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Her mother and much of her family are based in California. All of her California family and friends were, of course, devastated by her death.

She had been a passenger in a car at the time of the crash and was wearing a seat belt. The car she was in, driven by a friend who was also wearing a seat belt, was trying to pass a second vehicle. As it did, it collided with an oncoming car.

The vehicle they were trying to pass was a semi. According to the friend, the semi was emitting exhaust fumes, and the woman who died was having an allergic reaction to them. The friend, who suffered only minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital, was distraught about what happened.

The car that hit their vehicle, causing the fatality, was a 1999 Dodge Ram. The driver of the Dodge Ram had swerved in an effort to avoid the collision. However, it was too late. The man, 25, hit the 2013 Chevy Malibu that the bride-to-be and her friend were in.

The friend will face traffic charges but no criminal charges. It is unknown whether the family of the woman who died will pursue legal action. In comparable cases, anyone injured along with relatives of those killed may wish to explore their legal options with the help of an attorney.
